Paid material is separated from independent journalism and labelled in a way readers can understand, such as Advertisement, Sponsored or Partner Content. Payment does not provide control over unrelated news coverage, headlines, rankings, reviews or editorial conclusions.
Native or partner content must identify the commercial partner. Advertisers may review factual information about their own products or organisation, but the publisher retains control over labelling, presentation, technical standards and publication.
All campaigns are subject to legal, technical, editorial and brand-safety review. Middle East Press may reject, pause or remove material that is unlawful, misleading, unverifiable, discriminatory, unsafe, malicious, impersonating, politically deceptive, infringing, unsuitable for a general news audience or inconsistent with the publication's standards.
Claims about investment returns, property ownership, visas, healthcare, financial products or regulated services must be supportable and accompanied by disclosures required in the markets where the campaign appears. Landing pages must match the advertisement and use secure, functioning links.

The publisher applies Qatar's Law No. 13 of 2016 on Protecting Personal Data Privacy where it applies to the processing. This notice is intended to describe actual website practices and does not limit rights granted by applicable law.
The public website does not currently use advertising pixels or behavioural analytics cookies. Sensitive personal information should not be sent unless specifically requested and necessary.
Data is used to deliver and administer the requested newsletter; respond to enquiries; operate, secure and diagnose the website; prevent abuse; remember user-requested settings; maintain publishing records; comply with legal obligations; and establish, exercise or defend legal rights.

Technical logs and backups are rotated according to operational and security schedules and may be retained longer when an incident, dispute or legal duty requires preservation.

Middle East Press uses a small amount of first-party browser storage to operate the site and remember reader-selected functions. It does not currently use behavioural advertising or audience-profiling cookies.
A cookie is a small value sent by a website and stored by the browser. Local storage is a related browser feature that keeps preferences on the device but is not automatically sent with every web request. This policy covers both technologies and similar local identifiers.

Weather data and web fonts may be retrieved from external providers. Social networks are contacted only when the reader chooses a sharing link. These connections can reveal ordinary network information to the selected provider, even where Middle East Press does not set a third-party cookie itself. Provider policies govern their subsequent processing.
Cookie Settings allows functional storage to be disabled and existing language or dashboard values to be removed. Blocking functional storage does not prevent access to articles, but language choices will not persist and live panels may need to fetch data again. Browser controls can also remove or block stored values.

Middle East Press aims to provide advertisers with a professionally edited environment while preserving the independence and completeness of legitimate news reporting.
Coverage includes politics, economic developments, property markets, public institutions, diplomacy and regional events. Some accurate reporting may concern conflict, sanctions, accidents, legal disputes or other sensitive subjects. The presence of such reporting does not mean that an advertiser endorses it.
Campaigns may be assigned to agreed sections, countries, formats or exclusions where technically available. Sensitive adjacency requests should be documented before launch. The publisher will use reasonable efforts to apply agreed controls but does not promise that every contextual interpretation can be anticipated.
Middle East Press does not knowingly accept advertisements that promote illegal activity, hate or discrimination, exploitation, explicit sexual material, malicious software, counterfeit goods, deceptive financial schemes, impersonation, unsafe products, fabricated endorsements or claims that cannot be substantiated.
Political or issue-based advertising, regulated products and high-risk financial or property promotions may be refused or subjected to enhanced verification and disclosure requirements.
Advertisers do not receive advance control over independent reporting and cannot purchase the suppression, favourable ranking or alteration of unrelated coverage. Commercial content is labelled, and editorial staff may decline assignments that create an unmanaged conflict of interest.
